Wanderlust Designer
Having wandered through all 50 U.S. states, nearly 40 countries, and lived in New York City, Paris and London, Betsy Beier has made a life out of following her curiosity. Currently based between San Francisco and Paris, she sees the world as a living sketchbook—every café table, city neighborhood, bayside path and bustling market are a spark for creative discovery.
Her work is an invitation to slow down and experience a place with your senses wide open. Through sketching, journaling, collage, and a dash of poetry, Betsy helps travelers capture the textures, colors, and stories that make each journey unforgettable.
Betsy designs and leads immersive creative tours across France—from Paris’s hidden artsy stories to Van Gogh's sunflowers of Provence, the storybook chateaus of the Loire, and the post-impressionist light of the Côte d’Azur. Each tour is part atelier, part exploration: mornings filled with art making and creative expression, afternoons on guided walks, local markets or sketching local scenes, evenings sharing a delicious meal as pages fill with memories.
When she’s back in the Bay Area—or passing months in Paris—Betsy hosts intimate meet-ups and workshops, gathering artists, travelers, and the creatively curious to draw, journal, discover new areas and share stories.
Rooted in a BFA and MFA and a 35-year career spanning art direction, UX design, published books, and licensed illustrations, Betsy brings a seasoned eye and a playful spirit to every gathering. Her passion is clear: to help you see the world differently, and to leave with a journal brimming with the color and rhythm of your own adventure.
