Digital Download & Printing Guide

Welcome! Thank you for supporting Wanderlust Designer.

All of my printable products are designed to be easy to download, print, and enjoy from the comfort of your own home. Whether you're creating a journal, printing collage papers, or preparing for your next creative adventure, this guide will help you get the best results from your downloads.

Downloading Files

Where do I find my downloads?

After completing your purchase, your files are immediately available through your Podia account. You'll also receive an email with a link to access your downloads.

If you ever have trouble locating your files, simply contact me and I'll be happy to help.

How many times can I download them?

Your purchased files remain available in your Podia account, so you can download them again whenever you need them for your own personal use.

Printing from Home

Most Wanderlust Designer products are designed to print on standard US Letter (8.5" × 11") paper and also print beautifully on A4 paper.

For the best results, print at 100% (Actual Size) unless a product specifically instructs otherwise.

Many products can be printed using a home inkjet or laser printer.

PRINTING CREATIVE JOURNALS

Many of my Creative Journals are designed as simple folded booklets that are easy to assemble at home.

Each journal includes printing instructions, but the basic process is:

  1. Print the journal pages (double-sided if your printer supports duplex printing).

  2. Fold the printed sheet in half.

  3. Fold it in half again to create the booklet.

  4. Separate the folded pages as instructed.

  5. Staple along the folded edge to create your finished journal.

If your printer doesn't support double-sided printing, don't worry! Simply print the front and back pages separately, then align, fold, and staple them together.

BEST PAPER CHOICES

The right paper can make a big difference! Here are a few of my favorite options:

  • Standard Copy Paper (20–24 lb.) — practice pages and everyday printing

  • Premium Presentation Paper (28–32 lb.) — journals and guides

  • Matte Photo Paper — postcards and illustrations

  • Cardstock (65–110 lb.) — postcards, collage pieces, and sturdy journal covers

  • Watercolor Paper (see note below) — if your printer supports heavier papers

Experiment and discover what works best with your printer and favorite art supplies.

CARDSTOCK

Cardstock works beautifully for:

  • Creative Postcards

  • Collage elements

  • Journal covers

  • Gift tags

  • Decorative pieces

Lighter cardstock (around 65–80 lb.) generally feeds more easily through most home printers.

WATERCOLOR PAPER

Many home printers can print directly onto lightweight watercolor paper. This is one of my favorite ways to prepare pages that you'll paint with watercolor later. Be sure to check your printer's paper weight recommendations before printing.

STICKER PAPER

Sticker paper is a wonderful option for:

  • journals

  • planners

  • travel notebooks

  • creative collage

  • handmade cards

Simply print, cut, and enjoy!

SCALING & RESIZING

Unless otherwise noted, I recommend printing at 100% (Actual Size) for the intended design.

Many products can also be resized to suit your own creative projects. For example, you might print postcards smaller for journals or enlarge collage elements for mixed media artwork.

Feel free to experiment and discover what works best for your creative style.

Troubleshooting

My file won't open.

Most products are delivered as PDF, JPG, or PNG files. If you're unable to open a file, first make sure you have an appropriate application installed (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDFs).

If you're still having trouble, please contact me and I'll be happy to help.

My printer isn't printing correctly.

Printing issues are usually related to printer settings rather than the file itself. Before printing, check that:

  • you're printing at Actual Size (100%)

  • the correct paper size is selected

  • the appropriate paper type is chosen

  • your printer has enough ink

If something still doesn't look right, I'd be happy to help troubleshoot.

I'm having trouble downloading my files.

Occasionally browsers or email settings can interrupt downloads.

Try:

  • downloading from your Podia account

  • using a different web browser

  • downloading to a computer rather than a phone or tablet

  • checking your internet connection

If you're still having difficulty, simply contact me and we'll get everything sorted out.

❤️ Betsy's Tip

Don't worry about making everything perfect. Some of my favorite journal pages began with a simple printed page, a pencil, and a little curiosity. These printables are meant to be explored, personalized, written on, painted, cut apart, collaged, and made entirely your own.

Every collection begins with a place. What you create with it is entirely your own.
