In the twinkling heart of Paris’s Montmartre district, a group of creatives gathered for a cozy and joyful afternoon at Le Marché de Noël des Abbesses to celebrate the spirit of the season — sketchbook in hand. Surrounded by glowing lights, the scent of mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and the cheerful hum of holiday shoppers, participants received small accordion sketch journals to capture the scene in their own imaginative ways.
The bustling Christmas market offered endless inspiration for people watching, storytelling, and spontaneous art-making. Some artists focused on charming vendor stalls and hand-crafted goods, others sketched holiday treats or the joyful expressions of bundled-up visitors taking in the magic. Each sketchbook became a personal take on the timeless charm of a Parisian Noël, full of color, warmth, and individual perspective.
It was the perfect creative outing to celebrate the season and experience the magic of one of Europe’s most beloved traditions — the holiday market — through art, community, and festive inspiration.
