Get inspired and learn how to draw  flowers in imaginative and creative ways in this art course: a 3 class- bundle including: Different Ways to Draw a Flower, Flowers Around the World and The Meaning of Flowers

Course Summary

Flowers surround us wherever we go. We may spot a blooming rose bush on a walk, discover wildflowers on a hike, or visit a botanical garden on a trip. Even in the bleakest, coldest environments, we see flowers in everyday items like wall paper, a colorful blouse, or on our favorite tea mug. Join me in a 3 class, self pace online art course where we get inspired by flowers!

Individual Class Details

In the first class, Different Ways to Draw a Flower, we will learn how to draw 4 common flowers in 4 different ways. These exercises will not only teach us some basics of how to draw flowers, but also help us discover our own personal art style preference.

In the second class, Flowers Around the World, we will explore a wide variety of flowers from around the world. Inspired by 3 distance locations, we will create 3 beautiful floral illustrations we can use to make our own personalized cards, stationery or just frame on our desk.

In the third class, The Meaning of Flowers, we will discover floriography, a practice of communicating through flowers and arrangements that has been used for thousands of years. We will learn the definition and paint a handful of colorful flowers, that then we will cut out and use to create our own paper bouquets that we can arrange and place in our homes or give to others depending on our mood or feelings!

Course Goal

By the end of the course you will not only be well versed in drawing and watercoloring a wide variety of flowers in your own creative style, but also will have gained hidden knowledge about flowers you can take with you as you explore the world around you, whether at home or traveling!
