Don't let rainy days get you down! Let's experiment with storytelling and draw and watercolor a typical rainy day, from a bright yellow rain slicker to a colorful rainbow, and everything in between!

Included in Class
This class includes step by step videos that you can follow along at your own pace to create a rainy day story. I first discuss a little about the overall design and composition of our illustration as well as touch on story telling in our work. Then we will draw and watercolor a typical rainy day in a storyboard format.
NOTE: The videos where I am drawing and watercoloring are made from a recording of a Zoom session. All attendees faces and names have been omitted from the video for privacy.
Art Supply List
To create the art in this class, you will need the following supplies:
1 roughly 8"x10" watercolor paper
watercolor set
brush or water brush to paint watercolors
black (waterproof) pen (like Micron)
white gel pen
HOMEWORK: Pick a rainy day and do this same project again but with your own story from moments of the day. Pick a time interval (say, every 3 hours) and draw one item or sketch a scene around you. At the end of the day, you will have a playful and memorable story board of how you spent your rainy day!
